I have always been an explorer of art, spirit,
science and philosophy. I am especially interested in states of
consciousness--how they are created, and how they are experienced.
From the silence of meditation to the chaos of multi-media assault,
if it alters a brain wave pattern, then I am interested in it.
The creative process for me offers the most all encompassing way of
exploring the consciousness of my world. I have worked with Light in
as many forms of it as I can find: with my first love being Light as
it is refracted, transmitted, and reflected by glass. I first began
working in glass in 1974, and it still continues to enchant me.
I am inspired by the heart-filling aesthetic of art made with glass,
and have come from panels created with deep transmitting color, to
panels of transparent texture, to the process of mosaic, utilizing
primarily the reflective qualities of glass. I cut each piece of glass with a sense of wonder as every panel
emerges with its own sparkle and shine. I bring to my outer world
the integration of my inner world in the form of images that speak
sacred languages. These are the life codes, encrypted communications
of peace, emerging from the endless well of self discovery as light
and form.
